PhotoMeister in Detail
The Basic Concept of PhotoMeister
To make working with your digital photos as easy as possible, PhotoMeister is built around three basic functions:
- Import: putting photos into albums or getting them from a digital camera into PhotoMeister
- Improve: editing photos to remove red eye, make color or other adjustments, and optionally using an external editor when desired
- Impress: printing or packaging your photos for delivery through email, the Web, as a screensaver, or even a PDA
What This Software Can Do For You
Photomeister helps you accomplish a number of important tasks regarding your digital photo collection:
-
Finding photos quickly: through PhotoMeister’s intuitive and simple interface, you can quickly locate your photos in albums based upon a standard naming convention. No more hunting around through endless directories with identically numbered filenames!
-
Managing your collection: PhotoMeister includes a number of easy-to-use features such as copying photos, importing photos into albums (from existing folders on your hard drive, from a digital camera, or from a TWAIN-compliant source like a scanner), removing photos (from an album), and deleting photos (to the Windows Recycle Bin).
- Editing photos: you don’t need to be an Adobe™ Photoshop® guru to handle the basic editing of your photos, nor do you need any expensive editing applications. Photomeister has built-in editing capabilities that allow you to quickly and easily perform everyday taks such as rotate, crop, reduce red-eye, and add frames. If more advanced editing is required, PhotoMeister allows you to set a default “external editor” (such as Adobe™ Photoshop®) that launches when you click the Edit button.
- Sending your photos: if there’s one thing that digital photography makes easy, it’s sending your photos to friends, family or customers. If there’s one thing that PhotoMeister simplifies, it’s that (usually complex) process. Using PhotoMeister’s build in “publishing templates” you can create web-based photo albums, screensavers, email them, or even burn albums and collections to a CD-ROM, all without using any additional software !
